Groundwater Assessment
Some areas have potential issues with groundwater for deep constructions as the predicted water table varies between 0 and -5 metres from natural ground surface. Some areas are known to be very high risk with respect to high water table and related issues such as prevalence of Acid Sulfate Soils.

Water Qulity Assessment
Water quality guidelines are technically-derived numerical measures (e.g. concentrations) or descriptive statements to protect aquatic ecosystems and human water uses and values (e.g. irrigation, stock watering, and recreation). Hydrogeological Assessment
A hydrogeological assessment of the groundwater conditions on the site and the potential impacts on the proposed development including any measures required to mitigate the impacts of groundwater, conditions on the development and the impact of the development on ground water are required as a part of planning permit application process.
